Trace Meek

This video is my response to The Art Assignment. I'm a little bit late to this game and am trying to catch up, so I rolled two assignments into one. First, there was the prompt by Nina Katchadourian (https://youtu.be/A24MRdNMOIA) which challenged us to get to know someone better by looking through their library and stacking their books in such a way as to develop a portrait of them.

Here is our response to the open collaboration call made by Son Lux here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kihTBtHxEc We brought in two dancers, one ballet and one contemporary and let them do their own choreography and improvize. We shot them using a high speed camera. These two dancers were then edited to the music by Son Lux.
